Well, he's been home with us for over 2 weeks now. There is no question that he's absolutely stolen our hearts. He's a total riot and a lot of work.
He is potty training really well - and honestly the treats and praise have had a lot to do with that. We had a couple of rough days, but patience and consistency kept us from big problems.
He sleeps through the night - from 11 until 7ish. And with only just a bit of "digging" in his bed when we first put him in there.
He chews everything in his path - but is responsive to "no" and it seems would prefer to chew his toys. (Though fingers and toes are pretty tempting)
He loves his daddy a lot - which is a bit disappointing since I spend more time with him. I can't say that I don't have moments of jealousy.
He's very tough - he attacks his toy hot dog with reckless abandon and even growls when he's chewing on it. The hot dog certainly knows who's boss.
He's a bit clumsy - but it is cute clumsy not stupid clumsy.
He still hasn't figured out the point of a leash - but now that he has all of his shots, I feel much more comfortable taking him outside to try and figure it out.
He's accustomed to an afternoon nap - which helps us accomplish things around the house.
His minuscule legs make his trot and run the cutest thing I’ve seen in a long time.
He has puppy breath - and I love it.
I'm not quite sure what I did with my life before he was around...
