Our First House?

Last week we made an offer on an adorable little bungalow in Highland Park (a transitional ~ and we like to think up and coming ~ area right outside of downtown Chattanooga). A few days later after a bit of negotiation, we came to an agreement and currently have an accepted contract.

Today we had an inspection which wasn't nearly as scary as our last go around and we are feeling pretty confident that this is the house that we're going to buy.

With a few more negotiations to figure out who will take care of the minor repairs that need to be made, we hope to close by next month and get to move in very soon!!!

Obviously, it isn't a done deal yet. We still need to have the property appraised and finalize the financing, but we are optimistic and excited. Sooooo, I thought I'd share a quick snapshot of the new place!
