Recently we went home to St. Louis for a family reunion.
This is part of my family.
When we get together we like to dance.
We tend to spend a bunch of time laughing.
And SOME of us tell stories. Stories which may or may not be mostly exaggerated.
We tend to sing along to every song.
(sometimes awkwardly spiritedly using blow pops as microphones)
And we love getting our pictures taken.
So, I guess it's really terrific that we have a resident photographer as part of our brood.
Episode 51: "Today I am thankful for ... family memories captured on film."
This is my uncle. I believe he is responsible for all the pictures that you see on this page. (Well, except for this one obviously.)
He's the master of catching quiet, candid moments.
And he humors us when we ask for endless "posed" pictures.
Please forgive the weird feathering thing happening with my bangs.
I'm blaming the rain.
(Now see, if I was with my family several of us would be singing a Milli Vanilli song right now.)
Family pictures are very, very, very important to me. Especially since we're gorgeous & photogenic far away from one another.
So today, I am thankful.
