Thankful Thursday/ Episode 61

Even though the temperatures haven't dropped nearly as low as one might imagine they could.  There is other striking evidence to prove that Autumn is definitely making her move on Chattanooga. 

The Orange is creeping up ever so slowly and gobbling up any green left in sight.

And I could not be happier about it.

Over the past few days, I've noticed the trees finally beginning to change. The Scenic City has begun her transformation into the beautiful autumn wonderland that I patiently await each year.  Frightened that our leaves wouldn't be as "intense" as years past because of television news stories, I crossed my fingers and prayed for the best.

Well, ladies and gentlemen, the best has arrived.

Episode 61: "Today I am thankful for... Vibrant Orange EVERYWHERE I look."

Don't get me wrong, all the colors of Fall are lovely.  Red is striking.  Yellow lifts my spirits.  Browns make me want to cuddle up with a cup of warm cider.  But Orange... Orange takes my breath away.

So today, I am thankful.
