Newbie Nugget: Paulina


There's this stop on the brown line on the north side of Chicago, 
it's spelled "Paulina." But it's pronounced Paw-LIE-na.

Paul-Liiiina Chicago l stop

Really?
Cause it sure looks like Paw-LEE-na to me.
It reminds me of the whole House-ton/Houston thing in NYC...

Any crazy pronunciations in your neck of the woods?
