HI! I'm Molly Page (@mollypg) and I am a work in progress. I know, I know everybody says that. But it's really so true. I'm doing my best to grow into a stronger woman, better wife and more content human being... most days.
After a brief stint below the Mason/Dixon line (where A Foreign Land was born), we moved back to the Midwest and settled in Chicago. A Foreign Land is where I chronicle the joy, humor, pain and the unexpected surprises encountered during my transition from newbie to native.
I truly appreciate you stopping by and am probably far too excited by comments that readers leave. I love that A Foreign Land is a space for interaction and conversation. It is fun to know that I'm not writing into an Internet vacuum. Response is GOOD. So, don't be shy. Speak your mind in the comment section because I would love to meet you. Just watch out, I talk back!

Molly, what a brave and enchanting book review, with rich insights re you. BTW, procrastination power, as Whitney describes in her popular Harvard Business Review blog, is like allowing for fallow time for innovation … or a richer harvest of benefits in your life.
Allowing for such fallow time helps not only innovation, but also for a richer harvest of benefits in your life when you step into daring to dream and then do something greater with your life. Whitney pulls you into the adventure story that can be the next chapter of the life you were meant to lead by sprinkling the path of her well-earned advice and first-hand experience with fascinating stories from other who also took the Dare Dream Do Path that she advocates in her already wildly popular new book.
Whitney pulls you into the adventure story that can be the next chapter of the life you were meant to lead by sprinkling the path of her well-earned advice and first-hand experience with fascinating stories from other who also took the Dare Dream Do Path that she advocates in her already popular new book (I was honored to read an advance copy). This book is a great companion to Marcus Buckingham’s book, Find Your Strongest Life.
Whitney has been supporting women in living from their strength for some years now, in how she leads her life and how she encourages others... Consider this your encourager book and share it with kindred spirits as you step into the new scenes of the next chapter of your life, and pull in new characters to support your way. http://amzn.to/JaFwvq
Hi Molly,
I came across your blog through Twitter. I've enjoyed reading some of your thoughts from moving to Chicago! Don't worry there are plenty of other fabulous brunch options that will leave you feeling just as ready for either a nap or a ten mile walk afterward. My husband and I usually don't eat for the rest of the day after we've had brunch. I hope you can make it to Neighbor's Night Out tonight.
I didn't realize you had a blog! :) (and it's a nice one too!) I enjoyed popping around and looking at posts - and I love your "bucket list" of things to do...it's something I've always wanted to write myself. I just haven't made the time yet. Perhaps that should be my first entry on there...heh. Happy holidays!
